Members completed women’s tailoring training through RSETI and advanced tailoring upgradation training supported by NABARD. The unit can produce 200–250 garments in an order cycle, depending on the volume and product mix.
Government and institutional support includes a ₹10 lakh production building under Special Central Assistance and 30 stitching machines. The submitted record also lists a ₹22 lakh bank loan across the three SHGs, ₹8.80 lakh in CIF loans, a ₹2.40 lakh institution-building fund for the producer group and ₹15,000 in revolving funds.
For FY 2025–26, the group reported business transactions of ₹58.50 lakh: ₹5 lakh in pre-school uniforms, ₹8.50 lakh in school uniforms, ₹3 lakh in national flags and ₹42 lakh in other garments.
The group now plans to add advanced machines, strengthen institutional and local-market linkages, diversify its product range and create further livelihood opportunities for its members.
